Websites are a critical brand necessity. They are as important and necessary as a business card. A website validates the legitimacy of a business and is usually the first touch point with a prospective customer. Sites have changed enormously in just the last few years offering e-commerce, blogs, searchable information archives, calendars, forms, ties to social media networks, etc. The list continues to grow daily. Most sites are built using some form of content management system allowing the business to manage their site. Sites also need to be “responsive” using adaptive layouts to accommodate all types of portable and mobile devices with varying resolutions. For most businesses websites are the primary marketing tool. As such they should be reviewed regularly for content and functionality.
