Biotech Primer was looking for a new website design as part of their brand evolution. Biotech Primer delivers easy to understand bio science education to the non-scientist professional. In addition to visually rebranding the site, we restructured the navigation to make it easier for visitors to locate and purchase classes. The web site is an e-commerce engine allowing for the purchase of in-person classes, e-learning courses, webinars, and books. While the website is Biotech Primer’s primary marketing tool we also updated the email marketing efforts by developing a new email template for targeted campaigns. The web site design was part of an overall re-brand that included the corporate logo and identity, trade show booth, and print materials. See the complete brand in its entirety.
Homepage – the site is built on the Joomla development platform. We did so to accommodate the complex multi-person registration and transaction system. We employed the use of vouchers for distribution of redemption codes. Biotech Primer through the admin system is able to add classes, online courses, webinars, and other items for sale. The site in addition to communicating with 3rd party CRM software uploads the sale information directly to QuickBooks.
Class Listing - the listing is dynamically populated within an accordion structure. Each class category includes a description and testimonial.
Class Description - class content is dynamically populated. In addition to the standard date, time, and location, the admin allows for partner branding, instructor bios, and class agendas.
Check Out – the site allows visitors to purchase single or multiple items in an easy 3-step checkout process. Once purchased, visitors are sent their redemption/activation codes by email.
Check In – once a check in account is created and logged-in, the user dashboard is displayed allowing the user to check-in for their class or view their webinar or e-learning course purchase.
